1. General Information

The Hockey Club was formed in 1962 and now runs 5 mens teams, 1 beavers team and 3 ladies teams. Also an Indoors mens team. They play in Royal Blue shirts and socks and white shorts. In September 2000 the Club formed a Ladies Section combining with Holywell Ladies and now run 3 ladies teams. They play their home games at Hawarden High School at 12.00am. They play in royal blue shirts, navy skirts and navy and royal blue hooped socks.

The mens first team play in the Northern Counties Hockey League, in Division 2 West. At home the team plays at NEWI Wrexham on the water based pitch at 1.30. The mens second team play in the North West Hockey League in Division 4 at NEWI Wrexham on the water based pitch at 3.00.  The mens third team play in the the North West Hockey League, Division 7S at Hawarden High School. The mens fourth team play in the North West Hockey League, Division 9S at Hawarden High School.  The mens fifth team play in the North Wales Men's Hockey League.  There is a mixed Beavers team for under 14s which plays friendly games against local sides.

The Club has a successful Indoor Team who were the runners up in the Welsh Championships for 2001 and have represented Wales in Europe on many occasions.
